We are looking for a communications specialist to join our communications team!
Job Description
Responsible for creating and implementing employee communication content that creates excitement, drives engagement, aligns teams/individuals, and helps shape culture.
Manage the end-to-end creation and deployment of internal communications supporting business and culture initiatives.
Serve as the point person for all business-related communication requests, ensuring SLA process is followed.
Manage the content calendar, determine appropriate platforms, and timing.
Collaborate with creative and IT teams to ensure the internal communication platform remains up to date with relevant content.
Routinely review and recommend site improvements.
Assist in the coordination, content planning, and execution of live meetings and events, such as All Hands Meetings.
Develop messaging and communications to support business and culture initiatives.
Provide support for external communications and events.
Analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs by monitoring key analytics, reporting to the team, and offering recommendations for improvements.
Build cross-functional relationships with brand and marketing peers to evaluate existing strategies and identify ways to enhance corporate messaging.
Manage information security in compliance with global ISM regulations.
Collect, analyze, report, and present data as information.
Prepare reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
Interpret and comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Initiate, recommend, and provide solutions through designated communication channels.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelors degree in Marketing, PR, Business, or a related field and two years of related experience in a Marketing or Communications related function
Demonstrated experience in internal communications in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated skill in building rapport and partnership at all levels of the organization while driving toward consensus.
Demonstrated experience in developing Communications Strategies and Programs.
Demonstrated experience writing and editing corporate communications.
Demonstrated experience as a creative problem solver and strong cross-functional partner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint as appropriate to the position and assignment.
