Job Summary
Hillman is looking for a Communications Specialist to help develop and execute both the internal communications strategy and corporate social media strategy for the organization. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating and distributing compelling content that engages employees, stakeholders, and strengthens the company's culture, working closely with internal partners to ensure all communications are clear, consistent and align with Hillman's mission and values.
Essential Job Functions *
1. Create and deliver internal communications content, including email updates, newsletters, video scripts, presentations, and intranet content.
2. Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure that communications and social media posts are timely and relevant.
3. Work cross functionally with key organizational stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company's goals and values.
4. Strong understanding of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok, knowing how to navigate each platform effectively.
5. Ability to develop and curate engaging content for our Corporate social media platforms, ensuring content is tailored to each specific audience.
6. A background in content creation (i.e. video creation, photography, graphic creation etc.) for social media. Ability to come up with creative content ideas and then execute and publish them on a deadline.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree.
1-3 years of experience in communications, internal communications, corporate communications, or related field.
Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong writing skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of Canva, PowerPoint, CapCut, or other video editing tools/software.
Experience in managing and maintaining internal communication tools is a plus (internal email software, intranet, etc.).
Work Environment
Office: Office setting. Seldom exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Loud working environment of the shop area. Functional vision and hearing required.
