Duties:Produce publications, brochures, press releases, and news releases to define the corporate identity to employees, members, and the broader Tribal and public communities. Develop the marketing communications plan for CRIHB and work closely with management to ensure marketing strategies are implemented and evaluated. Design and update organizational brochures, marketing materials, program logos, and presentation materials in consultation with staff and management in order to obtain ideas and suggestions to develop mutual understanding of the objectives and the ways in which the information is presented. Responsible for the timely production of the CRIHB Newsletter (Tribal Health Advisor), production scheduling, and distribution, on a quarterly basis. Responsible for developing and communicating press releases and organizing news conferences. Works with the COO to implement a long-range plan to increase membership and continually update the materials. Provides software training to CRIHB central office staff, and provides staff support in maintenance of the Intranet and website backup. Provides technical assistance (software applications) services to member tribes upon request on site or in-group training settings. Organizes and Coordinates sponsorship/advertising opportunities Create informational books for CRIHB events; CRIHB Annual Meeting, and CRIHB Annual Training. Continually update communications/marketing/website/intranet sections in the Operations Manual and other relevant repositories. Prepares written materials as requested/appropriate and review documentation for correct spelling and grammatical language. Attends meetings, conferences, workshops, Board and Committee meetings within the CRIHB service area and in locations outside service area as requested/authorized in order to carry out the responsibilities described herein. Assist with special projects. Maintains and updates the existing CRIHB website and program websites utilizing a complex mixture of web technologies. Works in coordination with CRIHB staff in the development of new pages, features, and links to the site. Develops video and audio. Responsible for registration of the CRIHB website with search engines, directories, and serves as the point of contact for the hosting and billing functions. The incumbent is responsible for auditing and scanning programs associated with the website. Regular and predictable attendance. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Additional Responsibilities: 1. Maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to be insurable under CRIHB's automobile insurance. 2. Position requires occasional overnight travel within CRIHB's service area. 3. Requires ability to drive up to 7 hours a day. Required Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in English and/or Communications or related field; AND five (5) years successful demonstrated experience in development of marketing materials. 2. Knowledge of desktop publishing and print production. 3. Must possess demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Wordpress, with some experience in HTML and CSS. 4. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, a team player, self-starter, multi-task oriented.
