Job Summary

The Communications Specialist is responsible for coordinating all internal and external communications activities for Femwell and client brands. External (client) communications include corporate emails, newsletters, articles, blogs, and other content pieces, as needed. Internal (Femwell) communications include announcements, newsletters, intranet, internal blogs, and training/education.

Essential Job Functions

  • Strong writing skills to provide support across all internal and external communication channels
  • Assist in planning and writing corporate communications, newsletters, blogs, and other content pieces
  • Maintain and update the company portal with all communications that have been preapproved by the Corporate Communications Manager
  • Help research and compile information for various content pieces
  • Craft and send Femwell newsletters, calendars and company announcements to the Supervisor for final approval
  • Maintain and update the Femwell Intranet
  • Prepare meeting materials and PowerPoint Presentations
  • Ensure communications for all audiences are clear, and engaging, and adhere to brand tone and guidelines
  • Collaborate with the Communications team on upcoming initiatives
  • Attend meetings and take minutes of what was discussed

  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in the use of email marketing software (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of healthcare (preferred but not required)
  • Must have the ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards and organization attendance policies and procedures.
  • Must maintain compliance with all personnel policies and procedures.
  • Must be self-disciplined, organized, and able to effectively coordinate and collaborate with team members.

Education, Experience, Skills, and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Hybrid rotation schedule and/or onsite as needed.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
