DescriptionFULL-TIME COMMUNITY ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide structure and supervision for students
- Provide Skills Development Services for students per program requirements and schedule.
- Be knowledgeable about program expectations and each student's treatment plan/plan for success.
- Effectively communicate with the treatment team orally and in written form.
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, conflict resolution, and behavior monitoring.
- Initiate, prepare for, and co-facilitate Plan for Success/Treatment Plan reviews.
- Accurately document each student's progress, interactions, participation, concerning behavior, etc. per protocol.
- E-mail weekly updates to parents and team members.
- Oversee student budgets.
- Liaison for community resources, employers, educators, health care providers, etc.
- Help with shift coverage. On-call as needed.
- Assist the Program Coordinator with urgent matters.
RequirementsFULL TIME COMMUNITY ADVISOR REQUIREMENTS:
- 20 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid Drivers License & reliable transportation
- Must have Food Handlers permit (or obtain within 1 week of hire)
- CPR and First Aid Certification (Or within 30 days of hire)
- Attend required pre-service and annual trainings
