The Community Ambassador will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive community at Plat 4 at Research Triangle. As a key liaison between residents, management, community partners, community employers, and local services, the Community Ambassador will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging environment that enhances the overall living experience for our residents. The Community Ambassador will be responsible for enhancing our online presence, engaging with residents and prospects, and executing various outreach and promotion initiatives. As the Community Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in driving community engagement, resident satisfaction, and leasing success while representing the mission, vision, and values of Buckingham.
Training/Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, property management, business management or a related field highly preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and social media tools such as SOCi
Experience/Skills
- Strong knowledge of the multi-family market, including current trends
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms and content scheduling using SOCi or similar tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging copy.
- Creative thinker with an eye for detail and design.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with external partners.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools strongly preferred.
Prior experience in event planning and execution is a plus
Resident Programming:
- Conceptualize, plan, budget, schedule, and execute resident events that foster a sense of community and enhance resident experiences.
- Collaborate with the leasing team to ensure seamless event execution and high resident participation.
- Act as the main point of contact for residents, providing timely and accurate information regarding property updates, events, and community initiatives through various communication channels, including emails and social media.
- Proactively engage with residents to build relationships and gather feedback to continuously improve community offerings.
SOCi Management:
- Procure, create, and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Twitter, and Google My Business.
- Generate compelling copy and graphics to be used in scheduled posts on the SOCi platform.
- Manage the content scheduling and posting process on SOCi, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.
Eblasts:
- Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to design and distribute impactful eBlasts for leasing and resident programming purposes.
- Craft persuasive and informative email content to drive resident engagement and highlight community events and promotions.
Outreach and Promotion:
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for community outreach and engagement.
- Plan and execute visits to outreach locations, promoting the community and building relationships within the local area.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to source and procure promotional items needed for outreach activities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with local businesses, service providers, and community organizations to enhance resident experiences and offer exclusive benefits.
- Participate in outreach efforts to prospective residents, providing information about the property's amenities, features, and community benefits.
Reporting:
- Update the monthly market survey with accurate and timely data to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain marketing and leasing dashboards, regularly updating key metrics and performance indicators.
- Generate reports from CRM and SOCi platforms to track social media engagement, eBlast effectiveness, and outreach outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, event attendance, and community feedback.
