Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Community Association Manager at Zeal Community. The role involves overseeing day-to-day community operations, managing homeowner associations, resolving issues, communicating with residents, organizing community events, and ensuring the overall well-being of the neighborhood.
Core Functions
- Financials: Manage budgets, invoices, receivables, expenses, financial reports, and cash flow.
- Communications: Proactively update, announce, and respond to homeowners while supporting newsletters.
- Inspections & Enforcement: Inspect properties, enforce rules, issue violations, and prepare compliance reports.
- Architectural Requests: Review, document, and manage architectural requests, notifying decisions timely.
- Maintenance: Oversee vendor work, maintain property standards, and ensure timely routine and emergency upkeep.
- Procurement: Manage RFIs/RFPs, and handle contracts for board approval.
- Risk Management: Mitigate risks, enforce safety policies, and monitor community infrastructure and permits.
- Governance: Advise the board on legal, legislative, and industry updates to support compliance.
Qualifications
- A Community Association Manager (CAM) license is required
- Experience in HOA management, property management, or community development a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of financial management and budgeting
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
