Community Banking Service Representative

We are seeking a full-time Community Banking Service Representative to join our team and work on-site at our Montoursville Office.
The Community Banking Service Representative (CBSR) performs a variety of duties to support the consumer services function of a community bank to include: opening and processing of new accounts of all types; cross-selling of institution services to customers and prospective customers; provide support to Assistant Branch Manager with loan documentation. May perform safe deposit box duties; may assist with training or guidance to Branch Community Banking Associates.
Essential Responsibilities:
Opens new accounts and assists customers in obtaining specialized services from other bank departments as necessary.Maintains a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank products and services in order to ascertain customer needs and participate in selling in conjunction with these needs.Solicits new business from present and prospective customers.Answers inquiries and resolves problems related to customer accounts and banking services.Performs all duties of a community banking associate as needed.Must be able to assist customers in an efficient and professional manner.Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness, and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.Requirements: The selected candidate must have the following skills:
- A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required with a preference for an advanced degree in a business or financial related field of study.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a teller, and/or customer service or banking experience preferred.
- Proficient reading, verbal, and written communication skills, analytical, organization, and planning skills, and math skills.
- Proficient knowledge of computer skills including online, internet, and mobile banking.
- Demonstrate management and/or supervisory skills.
- Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks, duties, and jobs throughout the office.
- Excellent interpersonal relation skills with the ability to demonstrate active listening, attention to detail, and positive professional attitude.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week, including early evening hours and rotating Saturdays, Based on Montoursville Office hours.
