OVERVIEW:
Our Community Banking Supervisors provide exceptional customer service to our valued customers by overseeing staff and processing customer banking transactions and providing then superior service and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supervises the Community Banking Associate team in order to provide efficient and accurate transaction processing and exceptional customer service experiences:
* Ensures that the Community Banking Associate team participates in meeting office goals by identifying sales opportunities and making referrals to the appropriate community banking employee;
* Leads by example to build relationships and provide a high levels of customer service, effectively asking questions to identify needs to expand relationships with customers;
* Coaches and mentors Community Banking Associate team to achieve performance expectations;
* Monitors Community Banking Associate balancing and provides coaching to improve performance and understanding as needed;
* Ensures that the Community Banking Associate team is adhering to the Community Banking Performance Standards and that the office controls, security procedures and audit and regulatory requirements are continuously followed;
* Effectively handles customer problems and service deficiencies related to the Community Banking Associate area, as well as ensures that resolution and follow-up are completed in an accurate and timely manner;
* Ensures the coordination of work, i.e., makes certain that the work of the Community Banking Associate team is coordinated with other positions in the office, with centralized operations personnel, and other departments; and
* Directly supervises and leads a team of assigned employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
* A high school diploma or GED;
* Two or more years' experience as a community banking supervisor, or equivalent experience in another position;
* Demonstrates an advanced understanding of community banking administrative and operational functions;
* Demonstrates above average management and leadership skills;
* Proficient interpersonal relations, communicative and customer service skills; and,
* Proficient reading, writing, grammar, analytical and mathematics skills.
Preferred:
* A thorough knowledge of the Community Banking Associate functions, Bank operating policies and procedures, and pertinent banking regulations;
* Proven sales skills; and
* Basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
