Job Summary:
Join our team as a Community Behavioral Health Liaison and play a vital role in coordinating services for individuals with behavioral health needs who have come into contact with the justice system. As a key member of our person-centered integration team, you will collaborate with local systems to ensure coordinated care for those in crisis. In this role we are looking for an experienced mental health professional. We seek a compassionate and skilled professional to establish ongoing relationships with law enforcement, court, and jail personnel to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Establish ongoing relationships with law enforcement, court, and jail personnel.
Coordinate services with local systems of care for individuals with behavioral health needs.
Collaborate with Access Crisis Intervention (ACI) in assessing individuals with behavioral health needs.
Assist law enforcement, court, and jail staff in locating inpatient psychiatric beds.
Participate in developing Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT) and other initiatives.
Provide support and referral to care for law enforcement.
Collaborate with local courts and jail personnel.
Attend monthly conference calls, webinars, and face-to-face meetings/trainings.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field.
One year of experience including trained in crisis intervention.
Knowledgeable about the local system of care and behavioral health disorders.
Proficient in public speaking and experienced in delivering professional training.
Additional Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Current drivers license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
Successful completion of background check, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
