Please see the KenCrest website for additional details.The Community Coach Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our individuals, as well as ensure they receive all the necessary supports to live a meaningful life.The work of the Community Coach Supervisor focuses on enhancing professional relations among team members and their capacity to work effectively with others toward common goals by using effective communication skills, facilitating teamwork and supporting and encouraging growth and professional development. The role is responsible for the management, supervision and training of Community Connection Coaches by incorporating KenCrest's Pride Values, providing a supportive work environment, using the principles of reflective practice as well as providing coaching, mentoring and encouragement for staff to do their best work and to work through challenging situations.This role is a hybrid role; while WFH the Community Coach Supervisor is required to be in the field 60% of the time- coaching/mentoring/training staff in various Montgomery/Philadelphia County areas. Candidate is required to be in the office at 930 Harvest 1 day a week- typically every other Monday for payroll duties and other administrative tasks.Some Essential Functions:
  • Assist supported individuals and Community Connection Coaches with implementation of the outcomes and action steps outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP)
  • In collaboration with the Personal Outcome Champion monitor documentation and review ISP's on a consistent basis to ensure all authorized services are being provided
  • Attend annual ISP meetings
  • Supervise and monitor services being provided as assigned by caseload
  • Develop staff schedules; assist the supported individual and his or her family to develop staff schedules, in response to their needs
  • Review and approve staff hours worked and travel vouchers
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing and hiring Community Connection Coaches
  • On board new staff and ensure they are properly trained on consumer specific and agency required trainings as well as the mission, vision, values, culture and philosophy of KenCrest
  • Develop performance improvement plans as needed
  • Facilitate and participate in quarterly staff meetings
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and in the absence of direct support staff, fill in direct support hours whenever possible
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred plus 3 years supervisory experience or Associate Degree required plus 5 years supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Microsoft office proficiency required
  • Community supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Acceptable criminal and child abuse clearances in accordance with state requirements
