LLE Education Group seeks an experienced Community Engagement Specialist who is passionate about inspiring children, connecting with the community, and building meaningful relationships.The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for maintaining, growing our relationships with new and existing families, and to ensure our services are visible and valued at the community level. Under the supervision of the Director of Child Care, and collaboration with our center management, and other staff, this position will promote our childcare services, programs/curriculum, identify and organize community events to support of the organization. The goal of the position is to increase enrollment, capacity, and quality of child care throughout the company. This position does require travel. The right candidates is someone who is passionate about early childhood education.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: - Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with families, schools, and organizations to foster community network.
- Ensure goals are consistently met in accordance with our strategic priorities.
- Conducts assessments and observations in the centers to gather and analyze feedback from management, and staff to continuously improve our services and engagement efforts.
- Function as connection for LLE Education Group to existing and new families to maintain communication about services.
- Represent the company at community meetings and events, advocating for the needs of families and children in our care.
- Performs all other job-related activities determined by the Director of Childcare Operations.
Marketing/Outreach: - Assist in identifying, development and execution of child care community engagement and outreach strategies-including but not limited to digital marketing to increase brand awareness.
- Curate content for publication in social media, news media, newsletters, and annual reports.
- Coordinate publication strategies with other team members.
- Create graphic ads for event promotion.
- Participate in planning committees for child care sponsored events.
- Performs all other job-related activities determined by the Director of Childcare Operations.
What you have: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Community Development, Social Work, Education, ECE or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or public relations, preferably in the child care sector.
- Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to plan and execute successful events and initiatives.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, community engagement tools and Microsoft office.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting families.
- Ability to travel throughout company portfolio and community events.
