This position will be responsible for performing office duties in atimely manner utilizing appropriate documentation.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide positive customer service to students and families.
- Address the needs, interests, and concerns of the hall/apartment residents and respond to students' residence life concerns regularly.
- Manage the operations of all residence halls and apartments including student maintenance and RA programming.
- Handle filing, receiving, making copies, and mailing out room contracts.
- Assist with residence hall tours, when needed.
- Coordinate meal changes and welfare checks.
- Coordinates student check ins/outs, room assignments, room checks, and room reservations; coordinates turnovers with custodians and maintain key inventory.
- Open and close the residence halls.
- Complete incident and maintenance reports.
- Pack and inventory residents' room upon sudden departure.
- Order and receive supplies and process mail.
- Support the Conduct Office with delivery of letters, investigations, and other items as needed.
- Participate in Residential Life on-call duty rotation as needed.
- Respond appropriately to confidential matters and make proper referrals to university offices as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
