Overview Provides health education and training, makes home visits, maintains records and educates clients and families on communicable diseases. QualificationsEDUCATION REQUIREMENTHigh school education or general education degree (GED) and less than one year of specialized training or education.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTAn additional one-year work experience (in any field) is required. Prefer experience in a health-related field.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets Cherokee Nation underwriting rating and be certified in CPR and First Aid.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESMust be able to use a computer and standard office equipment.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSEmployee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
