Job Summary

Program: #IChampionHealth is a community-engaged initiative supporting health for all in Lexington, KY that focuses primarily on mental health and substance use prevention among underserved, marginalized, and vulnerable populations. Programming includes a community health champions development programs for adults and youth, education for 4th through 12th grade students, culturally relevant media campaigns, and community outreach events.

Position Description: This position supports the program coordinator and director with the delivery of #IChampionHealth efforts. Duties include: delivering prevention and health promotion programming to community members; supporting community partner building; assisting with the development, creation, and facilitation of programming, outputs, and other daily operations; documenting project tasks and outcomes; engaging in data collection related to program and partner data as applicable; aiding the creation of internal and external reports.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams); Adobe Creative, Canva or similar design programs; Qualtrics, REDCap or other online survey software

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

High school degree required, associate's or bachelor's preferred

Familiarity with the Lexington community preferred

Ability to read/write/speak other languages a plus.
