The Community Engagement department and Community Impact team has an excellent opportunity for a Community Impact Specialist I in the Irvine, CA* office. Reporting to the Community Impact Supervisor, you will play a key role in advancing our community outreach efforts, supporting initiatives that enrich communities through In-N-Out Burger resources to build stronger, safer, and better places to live. This role is ideal for a service-minded professional who excels at cultivating strong partnerships, responding to community needs with agility, and providing exceptional support to our community partners. This person will be a team member of the Community Engagement department, which includes the In-N-Out Burger Foundation, Slave 2 Nothing Foundation, Fundraising, and Donations. *This position is full-time, in-office only General Responsibilities
- Conduct daily operations of corporate giving, including in-kind donations, and financial giving initiatives. Coordinate In-N-Out Burger resources in response to crisis situations with a high level of flexibility and discernment.
- Serve as the primary liaison with key external partners, ranging from local nonprofits to large statewide organizations, providing exceptional service and engagement that aligns with our company's values.
- Work closely with internal departments and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of Community Impact initiatives, contributing to the success of the company's broader community engagement strategy.
- Assist in developing, managing, and coordinating comprehensive Community Impact programs, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and recognition of volunteers to drive successful implementation and outcomes.
- Track and report on program metrics, including participation rates, impact measurements, and satisfaction feedback, ensuring data-driven decision-making and program enhancements.
- Represent In-N-Out Burger's Community Engagement Department in meetings with community organizations, nonprofits, and stakeholders, identifying opportunities that align with our giving strategy.
- Support the development and maintenance of positive relationships with community partners, sponsors, and volunteers through regular assessments, site visits, and ongoing engagement efforts.
- Assist in updating program budgets, including tracking expenses and submitting accurate financial reports, ensuring the financial integrity of Community Impact initiatives.

- Pay Range is $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
- The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors
- Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- Department needs will call for occasional evenings and weekends
- Travel time: It is anticipated that 10% - 20% of the work time will be spent in the field, which includes travel to all states where INO operates

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Management, Human Services, Social Science, Business, Social Welfare, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in managing volunteer programs, coordinating community events or supporting corporate giving initiatives.
- 2 + years of In-N-Out Burger store Associate experience preferred.
- Genuine passion for serving people, caring for the community, and supporting those affected by hunger and homelessness.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a people-first mentality, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service as a representative of the Community Impact team and In-N-Out Burger.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong time management abilities.
- Proficiency in office computer skills, including intermediate-level Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Asana or other task management software preferred.
