Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in rural housing and/or project-based Section 8 housing. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housing community and ensuring that our residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.Responsibilities:- Manage the leasing process, including marketing, screening, and leasing of units- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to affordable housing- Maintain accurate resident records and ensure timely submission of required reports- Respond to resident inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure that all work orders are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, community organizations, and local government agencies- Prepare and manage the community budget, including rent collection and expense management- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure that the community is well-maintained and in compliance with all regulationsRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field preferred- Minimum of 2 years of experience in rural housing and/or project-based Section 8 housing- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to affordable housing- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong organizational and time management skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management softwareIf you are a self-starter with a passion for affordable housing and a commitment to providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
