Community ManagerFull Time | Day ShiftLutheran Social Services of Central Ohio is currently seeking a Community Manager for Chadwick Place-LSS Affordable Senior Housing in Marion, Ohio. LSS Affordable Housing offers reliable and affordable apartments to more than 1,000 seniors throughout Ohio at 21 sites. The ideal candidate will share Our Mission: Creating a better world by serving people in need.Requirements for a Community Manager with Lutheran Social Services:High School Diploma or GED.An associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.Experience in apartment management, HUD subsidized section 8 housing or similar program preferred.Valid Ohio driver's license, access to reliable insured transportation and ability to meet LSS insurance standards required.Responsibilities for a Community Manager with Lutheran Social Services:Conduct all move-ins, move-outs, and re-certifications in accordance with the current HUD Occupancy Handbook 4350.3 and LSS requirements. 25%Maintain and process all resident, vendor, and facility files in accordance with HUD and LSS requirements, including processing all vouchers, tenant documents and corrections utilizing HUD software and HUD secure connections (TRACs system), in accordance with HUD Occupancy Handbook 4350.3. 25%Promote the highest quality of life for residents by managing the assigned HUD facility's building and grounds to ensure they are maintained to the highest quality standards and within the assigned HUD facility's operating budget. 10%Supervise all staff including the Assistant Manager, Service Coordinator, Maintenance, and Housekeeping staff. 10%Assure adherence to the established budget for the assigned HUD facility and participate in the preparation of annual operating budgets, capital plans, special claims requests and reserve for replacement requests. 10%Address resident relations, grievances, and eviction proceedings in a timely and professional manner according to LSS established policies and procedures. 5%Ensure that all contact with the community, HUD and other local and government agencies is conducted with the highest level of professionalism to ensure the continued development of productive community and business relationships. 5%Create and analyze reports, statistics, and studies to ensure program effectiveness and provide monthly management summary to supervisor regarding results of analysis. 5%Assist with training programs and file audits as needed. 5%Perform all other duties as necessary.As one of the largest non-for-profits in Central Ohio, we value our employees.
