Brookside provides multi-disciplinary, comprehensive care with services in a range of areas including: Adult and Pediatric Primary Care, OB/GYN, Family Planning, Dental/Oral Surgery, Nutrition/WIC, and Behavioral Health.*
Brookside is currently hiring for a **per diem** registered dietitian to join our WIC-Nutrition department. This role involves the provision of medical nutrition therapy to Brookside patients, ranging from the pediatric population to seniors. This work is based both onsite and remote. **Job responsibilities:**
* Provides therapeutic nutrition counseling to health center patients in accordance with current standards for nutrition care and documents therapeutic nutrition notes in EPIC system according to health center standards. Counseling is provided onsite at Brookside and remotely via telehealth applications.
* Serves as a professional resource for health center staff and community agencies and provides them with nutrition information through individual consultation and in-service training sessions.
* Participates in department performance improvement/quality assurance activities. Participates in department meetings, health center meetings, and trainings.
* Completes monthly statistics reports and other required reports.
* Participates in other administrative responsibilities.
**Qualifications**
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition with RD/LDN.
* **Ability to provide nutrition counseling in Spanish** .
* Current knowledge of general therapeutic nutrition.
* Strong individual and group counseling skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Strong tech literacy.
* Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
