**Position Summary**

Develops, facilitates, and implements outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations that support member education and health plan awareness within the Medicaid or Medicare population and the community. Develops and maintains relationships with community contacts. Maintains marketing guideline compliance with the appropriate state's laws and regulations.

**What you will do**

+ Develops and implements outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations to increase awareness of health plan presence in the community.

+ Ensures required documentation is in place for membership, leader-driven activities and events.

+ Manages on-site event staffing and handles any problems or emergencies that may arise, serving as primary contact for sponsors and event providers.

+ Coordinates event logistics including reserving space, catering, communications, distributing materials, facilities support, and setup/breakdown for the event.

+ Creates and maintains a community events calendar to assist the department with the community and member awareness.

+ Seeks out and secures event sponsorship by building and maintaining relationships with community contacts.

+ Prepares formal presentations for potential sponsors and members.

+ Conducts new member orientations and leads engagement events and activities.

+ Must obtain insurance license within 6 months of employment.

**Required Qualifications**

+ 1-2+ years work experience

+ Proven interpersonal and negotiating skills.

+ Ability to work independently and travel alone.

+ 1-2+ years of demonstrated proficiency with personal computers, keyboard, multiple systems navigation, and MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint).

+ Able to present information to various audiences.

+ Ability to work flexibly (i.e., weekends and off-shifts).

+ Must possess reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel in-state up to 50% of the time. Mileage is reimbursed per our company expense reimbursement policy.

+ Must obtain insurance license within 6 months of employment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Previous experience working with the Medicaid and Medicare population preferred

+ 3+ years customer service experience.

+ Bachelor's degree preferred

**Education**

+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

**Pay Range**

The typical pay range for this role is:

$21.10 - $40.90

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
