Job Description:
Pay Rate: $23.89 per hourCatholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to orchestrate and inspire in-kind donation campaign, we will fulfill the holiday wishes of children in residential treatment; provide support to families under stress; and garner creative, therapeutic supplies to enhance behavioral health services in clinics and schools. The Holiday Campaign Coordinator assists in carrying out all stages of the Season of Wonder campaign, engaging the public and communicating with donors. The work schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 11:00-4:00 9 (may work Saturdays in December)JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops written marketing materials, including invitations, campaign materials, and donor Communicates the breadth and diversity of clinical programs to solicit donations of most needed items.
  • Engages in-kind donors personally, by phone, and through email to connect them with campaign
  • Manages donor registration Generates personal donor packets including program information, customized wish list, and delivery instructions.
  • Participates in events associated with the campaign such as the launch event and sponsors' events.
  • Creates and manages donation delivery schedule (Dec 2-9, 2023). Provides hospitality, give-away items, and receipts to thank donors and publicize the
  • Works with campaign volunteers to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of gifts to Vincent's Villa children. Provides staff support to seasonal volunteers.
  • Maintains accurate records and updates database with donor information and donation
  • Generates acknowledgements for all donations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing, or any related field
  • An equivalent combination of education and
  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience managing and working with events and/or volunteers, including those in a leadership capacity

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Requires the ability to utilize computer systems and software necessary to perform position functions. Basic Windows PC, web browsing (i.e., Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.), and Microsoft Outlook skills required.Other Microsoft Office application knowledge, such as Word, Excel PowerPoint, Skype, Teams, Box and OneDrive desired.
  • Competent computer literacy including a working knowledge of word processing and database Proficiency in email, Internet use, and digital media/technologies.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and follow-through.
