The C.W. Williams Community Health Center, Inc. is expanding and looking for a dynamic and motivated Community Outreach Director to join our team. The Community Outreach Director is responsible for creating new initiatives, forming sponsorship agreements, and cultivating relationships with businesses, individuals, and other relevant organizations.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Maintain a calendar with all in-reach & outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.Prepare and coordinate community workshops and appearances that will reach out to different communities and connect with new community partners.Supervise Outreach Team and Volunteers.Prepare an annual budget for community outreach activities.Provide detailed monthly reports to the supervisor outlining budget, events, and leads.Nurture new and old relationships with collaborative partners.Schedule regular outreach exhibitions in the community and educate employees on community responsibility.Prepare accurate records and reports on the goals of the fundraising plan.Oversee a professional donor management system.Assist in the organization of special events, including donor/volunteer appreciation events and other fundraising initiatives.Help the organization connect with new partners.Reach out to families who have inquired, visited our website, or who have been referred to us.Assist those who walk in our door for the first time by providing them information and resources.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related fields is preferred.Preferred experience of 3-5 years within non-profit fundraising or outreach activities.Excellent written communication and presentation skills.Strong experience preparing reports.Must be computer savvy.Friendly, enthusiastic, compassionate, and positive attitude.Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.Flexible schedule.Our organization is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
