Salary:On-Call Stipend per shift$16.48/hourly per physical hours worked (Responding to crisis call, completing trainings, submitting documentation, etc.)A Typical Day as a Community Outreach On-Call Advocate:
- Respond to a crisis call within 60 minutes
- Work with children, teens, adults, and families who are experiencing immediate crisis
- Provide positive intervention, stabilization, de-escalation, and conflict management using a trauma-informed and family centered approach.
- Document and submit all services in a timely fashion (Crisis-Safety Plan)
Location:123 S. McArthur St. Macomb, IL with the willingness to travel and spend several hours in the field responding to crisis calls at local law enforcement agencies, schools, and/or hospitals. This office provides services to the following counties: Hancock, McDonough, and FultonWork Hours:Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based around the availability of youth and families servedDoes the Following Apply to You?
- High School Diploma or GED
- Child Welfare Experience (preferred)
Additional Qualifications:
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain an insured vehicle
- At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
- Successful completion of all required trainings related to the position
