We are excited to expand the team with a talented Virginian with local expertise. This individual will work to extend Energy Right's message into new areas and deepen engagement in meaningful ways. An ideal candidate is accustomed to fast-paced work where no two days are alike. He or she must be a team player who is comfortable in a start-up environment. Passion for local government and clean energy is a plus!

Qualifications

• Campaign/political experience in Virginia is preferred
• Bachelors degree
• Strong writing/communication skills are needed
• Ability to network/make connections to bring new ideas to a community
• Willingness to travel across Virginia, with a focus on Central Virginia

Energy Right is a 501c3 nonprofit that strives to ensure energy is developed the right way with a focus on property rights and conservative ideals including an all-of-the-above energy strategy led by a market-based approach. Through education efforts across Virginia, Energy Right fosters constructive conversations among community residents, businesses, and leaders to make the best energy decisions possible at the local level. Our team is engaged in 70+ counties across the commonwealth with landowners, neighbors, businesses, local leaders, and interested citizens to pursue clean energy the right way.
