Location Newtown Athletic Club Description The Newtown Athletic Club is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, driven professional to join its Sales & Marketing Team. This opportunity provides hands-on experience with room for personal growth, in a growing company, with an entrepreneurial focus and collaborative team.As a Community Partnership Sales Coordinator you will be involved in all aspects of community partnership relationships including new business development, marketing, customer services and sales. This role is based out of our club, but requires travel to community business offices and local organizations.Ensures business goals are met by driving sales and marketing initiativesResponsible for the entire journey of a community partner lead generation, prospect management, closing of sale, implementation of marketing items sold in presentation, analyzing metrics for campaign effectiveness, retention year after yearUse a consultative selling approach, to gain a clear understanding of their needs and present a sponsorship and proposal package to win their business and acquire new sponsorship revenuesUnderstand the interests and behaviors of our community and be the team expert on audienceExecute the marketing features sold in the sponsorship packagesDevelop new initiatives and product features to be included in a partnership menuRequires project management skills to organize the needs of all marketing partnershipsProvide feedback social platform/creative considerations & best practicesIdentify and brainstorm new ideas to encourage further engagement with partnersPosition Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Friendly, welcoming, outgoing personality requiredUpbeat, positive and optimistic attitude requiredEffective verbal communication skills are a mustOutstanding time management and organizational skills to work in a multi-task, fast-paced environment with general supervisionPatient, courteous listener with the ability to show empathy requiredAbility to interact professionally with multiple levels of personnel within the organization internally and externallyEffective verbal communication skills are a mustHighly motivated, self-starting professionalPhysical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk frequently during the day. May stand four (4) to eight (8) hours per day. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
