Hanover Engineering is seeking a Senior Community Development Planner for our Bethlehem and Ephrata, Pennsylvania locations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional planning assistance to municipal and private clients on varied land use projects
- Prepare and/or review and process comprehensive plans, plan amendments, rezonings, annexations, site plans, plats
- Perform field inspections to gather data relevant to the development review process and/or to verify that development projects comply with approved plans
- Develop transportation plans, studies and analyses on regional basis
- Develop project budgets, verify contract expenditures and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Planning or related field
- 4-6 years of related field experience
- AICP Certification is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and experience in construction processes
- Valid driver's license
