Job Description:
We are hiring Site Managers at the following locations:
  • East Boston
  • South End
Community Coordination handles direct case management services to clients currently at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line who live in Boston, Malden, Medford, and Everett. If you are passionate about community development and possess the required skills, we invite you to apply. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Vice President of Field Operations with the daily operations of a Community Coordination Site, ensuring that the program activities and performance meet and exceed established goals.
  • Supervise clerical and volunteer staff as assigned.
  • Monitor employee performance, training needs, time cards, and record keeping.
  • Oversee and organize office operations and procedures (e.g. typing, filing, photocopying, faxing, and other clerical services).
  • Develop periodic training and protocols for clerical and administrative support.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of statistical and narrative reports.
  • Assist in grant writing, development, and implementation of programs.
  • Oversee the tracking and data collection of client information and assist in the preparation of reports for funding sources.
  • Manage bills to be paid, and provide follow-up to make sure all accounts are reconciled.
  • Manage inventory and purchase of office supplies, as well as servicing of equipment and renewals of contracts.
  • Disseminate information about ABCD services throughout the community, representing the agency at meetings with other agencies, local groups, etc. as appropriate.
  • Develop relationships with other community-based organizations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with at least three to five years of experience in case management or job development and experience working with adults and youth required.
  • Some college coursework is preferred.
  • Must have a broad knowledge of human services in the city, how to access them and demonstrated ability to work with clients and staff of diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work without the required supervision.
  • Bilingual skills as needed.
  • Willingness to travel and attend meetings and agency events.
  • Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds.
