Our team is looking for a Community Support Professional to join our New Horizons Residential Crisis Stabilization Program. Along with competitive benefits and our generous PTO plan, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those experiencing a mental health crisis within our community.The Community Support Professional (CSP) provides individual and group crisis stabilization, crisis intervention, and education services to clients in the residential crisis stabilization program. The CSP is responsible for leading groups, safety planning, discharge planning, individual needs, and phone coverage. The CSP works as part of a clinical team providing services in a short-term residential setting.Starting Hourly Rate:Community Support Professional I: $18.45-Depending on ExperienceCommunity Support Professional II: $19.36-Depending on ExperienceEducation Requirements:Community Support Professional I:* Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other related field is preferred.* QMHP/QMHP-E registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling is required.Community Support Professional II:* Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related field is preferred.* QMHP-A registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling is required; or will consider QMHP-T.
