or* Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with two years of relevant experience; or* Any combination of four years of higher education and related experience; or* Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support; or* Four years of qualifying experience delivering services to individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.Qualifying Experience Includes:* Providing one-on-one or group services with a focus on recovery, rehabilitation, or resiliency.* Teaching and modeling coping strategies and management techniques for mental health, developmental, or substance use issues.* Supporting clients in achieving personal goals related to employment, education, and community engagement.* Assisting clients in implementing their individual treatment plans effectively.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* In-depth understanding of case management and rehabilitation principles for mental health and/or substance use disorders.* Familiarity with community resources and the ability to connect clients to appropriate services.* Knowledge of evidence-based practices, legal requirements, and court procedures related to mental health and substance use treatment.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.* Self-motivated with the ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain a high standard of service.* Proven ability to establish effective relationships with clients, families, and professional teams.Why Join Us?* Make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and their families.* Work in a supportive and collaborative environment committed to professional growth and development.* Contribute to innovative approaches to mental health care within the community.Employment Requirements:* Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check.* Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.* All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.* Current driver's license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.* Must have reliable means of transportation in order to transport clients in personal vehicle.Physical Requirements:ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up the 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
