Status: Part-Time HourlyFLSA classification: Non-ExemptSummary of Position: The Community Treatment Center (CTC) Advocate is to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct services to assigned participants and their families. The CTC Advocate will be responsible for conducting at least one group a day and the implementation of programs day treatment schedule which focuses on cognitive restructuring and teaches youth how to replace irrational/antisocial thinking with pro-social thoughts. Individual will be working in a site-based day treatment program. Skill trade knowledge is a plus, i.e., carpentry, gardening, maintenance, culinary, electrical, mechanical, etc.Evenings are required.Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for group facilitation.
- Assist participants with continuum of care treatment goals.
- Design and implementation of individualized program plan, assess the needs of the participant and maintain service records, communicate with appropriate individuals regarding the participant and prepare written communications including discharge reports.
- Ensure that each assigned participant is receiving an appropriate dosage level of group curriculum.
- Assist participant/families with transportation as needed.
Qualification/Requirements: Associates degree or bachelor's degree preferred.Experience with youth and families involved in the Juvenile Justice System.Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent required.Position requires reliable transportation, valid Driver's License, and current auto insurance coverage Benefits Available:
