As an authorized John Deere and Wirtgen equipment dealer, we provide a full range of machinery, ensuring our clients can confidently meet project demands.Position Overview: The Compact Construction Equipment Sales Representative is a key role within Coastline Equipment, responsible for driving sales and expanding our client base in North Las Vegas, NV. This role focuses on selling a range of Compact Construction Equipment, including Skid Steers, Compact Track Loaders, Mini-Excavators, and Compact Wheel Loaders. The Sales Representative will engage with prospects, provide product knowledge, and foster relationships to enhance our presence within the region. This role is essential in promoting Coastline Equipment's commitment to quality, service, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect Engagement and Relationship Building: Identify and connect with new and existing prospects, planning sales calls and presenting sales opportunities to meet client needs.
- Sales Negotiation and Account Management: Quote and negotiate pricing and credit terms, prepare contracts, and actively manage accounts to drive successful sales transactions.
- Product Knowledge and Customer Service: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Compact Construction Equipment and provide clients with technical assistance and exceptional customer service.
- Brand Promotion and Networking: Build relationships with clients and prospects through regular communication, while enhancing Coastline Equipment's brand recognition in the territory.
- Industry Representation: Attend product demonstrations, open houses, exhibits, and industry meetings to engage with industry professionals and promote Coastline Equipment's offerings.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors and senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction or agricultural equipment sales or related industry experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Resides in Los Angeles County preferred.
- Proficient in iOS platform and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Familiar with CRM systems for effective customer relationship management.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs.
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to analyze sales reports and identify opportunities.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to drive and travel as needed within the territory.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds periodically.
Work Environment:
- This position is field-based, with frequent travel within the North Las Vegas area to meet with clients and prospects.
- Requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate client schedules.
