Complete Healthcare Staffing, LLC is currently hiring Companion Caregivers to provide companionship and support to elderly or disabled clients in their homes. As a Companion Caregiver, you will enhance the quality of life for clients by offering companionship, assistance, and emotional support. Responsibilities:
- Engage clients in conversation and activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Accompany clients on walks, outings, and recreational activities.
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social events.
- Assist with light household tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to alleviate loneliness and isolation.
- Monitor and report changes in client's condition or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect client's privacy and dignity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Companion Caregiver, caregiver, or similar role preferred.
- Empathetic and compassionate attitude towards clients.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a positive attitude.
- Ability to adapt to the needs and preferences of clients.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Provide at least 2 professional references.
