Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Analyst to join our team on a project assignment aimed at delivering a comprehensive job architecture for Company. This role requires an individual with a keen analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of compensation principles and methodologies.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting compensation processes and data to support the development of the job architecture framework.

Key Accountabilities:

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze compensation data from various sources including internal databases, market surveys, and industry reports.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to job roles, responsibilities, and compensation structures.

Job Evaluation and Benchmarking:

  • Evaluate existing job roles within the organization to determine their relative value and placement within the new job architecture.
  • Benchmark job roles against external market data to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.

Compensation Modeling:

  • Utilize compensation modeling techniques to develop new salary structures, pay bands, and incentive programs within the job architecture framework.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine compensation models based on organizational objectives and budgetary constraints.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Document findings, methodologies, and recommendations in clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders including HR, senior management, and other relevant teams.

Qualifications:

  • Compensation experience in the manufacturing industry with a large hourly production workforce
  • Associates degree or above in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, or Human Resources and/or equivalent of 8 years of experience in the HR or Finance field.
  • At least 5+ years' experience in compensation specialist
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to manipulate and interpret data and be able to arrive at conclusions which balance data findings and workforce strategies.
  • Ability to team and partner: Be able to work with a cross section of internal customer groups to interpret requirements, quickly source information and data to meet those needs and provide direction.
  • Communication skills: Ability to translate and communicate many technical compensation plans; translate trends; communicate strategies and principles; interpret current practices and explain how they align with strategies and principles.
  • Detailed data management acumen: Ability to accurately and accountably manage and organize complex data utilizing data analysis tools
  • Ability to manage PeopleSoft data organization and analysis.
  • Demonstrated Process Improvement: Ability to build thoughtful improvement through excellent problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, strong process orientation, and improvement planning of future compensation plans and strategies

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Hourly contract rate range of $40.00 to $48.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
