Advanced analytical skills and a core understanding of compensation practices are a key to success in this role. Consulting with business managers/partners on compensation issues, updating system information, and administering processes/programs that align with business strategy are also large components.Responsibilities:* Partner with the Compensation Manager and other stakeholders on a variety of compensation and HR projects to help define needs, develop communications and implement trainings.* Assist in the creation, implementation and management of a world class salary and total compensation structure.* Consult with management and leadership to develop, analyze and update job descriptions, perform job leveling, analyze FLSA status and create salary ranges to ensure competitive structure and cost effectiveness.* Understand jobs and markets to effectively analyze industry and market data trends.* Review, price and model the impact of new and existing roles and programs that support our business strategies.* Participate in compensation surveys and help manage vendor relationships.* Work with the Compensation Manager on annual compensation analysis, salary range evaluation, and merit/promotion review cycle.* Ensure that pay programs are consistently administered in compliance with Agency policies and regulations through audits, reports and personal contact.* Assist Talent Acquisition team on offer negotiations; work with the Compensation Manager, HR team members, managers, finance and payroll to resolve and mitigate compensation issues.* Identify and act on opportunities to continuously improve programs, systems and processes.* Other job duties as assignedQualifications:* Bachelor's degree in finance, business, HR or other related field or equivalent experience in addition to the below* A Minimum of 2+ years of solid compensation experience required, preferably US and international* Experience with incentives and bonus plans are a plus* Great project management skills: Juggle multiple initiatives, organize and prioritize effectively, rolling up your sleeves to get the job done* Analytical problem solver: Gather data independently, manipulate and analyze using Excel; take a position, make recommendations, problem solve along the way* Proficient in Excel* Workday experience a big plus* Salary Survey Tool experience a big plus.* Strong communication and presentation skills: To take the mystery out of compensation!Preferred Qualifications:* Familiarity with compensation practices in a dynamic organization* Ability to work effectively with colleagues across different locations* Comfortable with tight deadlines and multitasking* Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)* Willingness to occasionally work beyond regular hours.CompensationThe base annual salary range for this role, applicable across all U.S. locations, is outlined below.
