We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Payroll Specialist to join our clients team in the La Porte, TX/ Greater Houston area. This hybrid role offers a flexible working arrangement, allowing the ideal candidate to balance remote work with in-office collaboration. The Specialist will manage payroll processing, ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, and support compensation strategy through data-driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Oversee end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
- Payroll Compliance and Reporting: Handle payroll taxes, quarterly and year-end reporting, and assist with audits.
- Compensation Analysis: Conduct job evaluations, perform salary benchmarking, and participate in market analysis to support equitable and competitive pay structures.
- Data and Market Analysis: Use compensation data to perform market analysis and recommend adjustments to compensation structures as needed.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with HR, finance, and business leaders to align compensation and payroll practices with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and compensation analysis.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification (preferred).
- Proficiency with payroll software and compensation analysis tools; experience with payroll tax laws and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a collaborative and problem-solving approach.
