Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Deceuninck North America (DNA) is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Specialist for the Monroe, OH facility. This position responsible for administering compensations, benefits, company policies development and updates that align with legislative update requirements. This role involves ensuring accurate benefit enrollments, handling claims issues, managing insurance billing, and keeping the company updated on legislative changes related to employment and benefits administration. Core Responsibilities:

* Responsible for benefits enrollment and administration for all Deceuninck North America employees (OH and NV).

* Monitors benefit enrollments and conducts weekly audits to ensure accuracy of enrollment and termination data feeds to benefit providers.

* Partners with onsite nurse to ensure effective administration of employee leaves (STD, LTD, FMLA and ADA) in alignment with company policy and law.

* Ensures compliance with COBRA requirements.

* Assists employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, claims issues, and provisions.

* Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.

* Facilitates accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers.

* Processes weekly 401K contribution updates and loan payments in Paycor.

* Stay informed on legislative updates and company policy changes and prepares necessary adjustments to all human resources policies and procedures for review.

* Processes the annual catch-up contribution enrollment.

* Assists with annual benefit open enrollment, including scheduling meetings, preparing internal communications, attend open enrollment meetings, and review of pending enrollments in Paycor.

* Reviews Short-term disability payments reports from carrier weekly and prepare payments for payroll.

* Administers the tuition reimbursement program.

* Reconcile benefit vendor statements to system enrollments and process monthly invoices.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of three years' experience in benefits administration.

* Working knowledge of managing benefits enrollments / COBRA within an HRIS system; Paycor Benefits system highly desired.

* Extensive knowledge of employee benefits, compensation, and applicable laws.

* Experience drafting and refreshing company policy to align with state and local laws and regulatory changes.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information to team members at all levels of the organization (written, oral and presentations).

* Prior experience analyzing data and making recommendations. Strong problem-solving skills.

* Ability to lead projects with excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

* Experience supporting internal audits.

* Must have unrestricted authorization to work in U.S.

Education Requirements:

* Associates Degree in Human Resources, Human Capital Management, Business Administration or related field required Bachelor's Degree, preferred.

* Professional certification (SHRM-CP,PHR) desirable.
