Headquartered in Manhattan, Geller & Company employs more than 300 professionals to help shape and drive our clients' financial strategies.Compensation Consultant (Temporary Position):The Compensation Consultant supports company-wide compensation programs and is responsible for administration, implementation, and communication of new programs, policies, and processes related to compensation and total rewards. This role is responsible for providing support, guidance, and recommendations on base pay management, completing market analyses and collaborating with senior members of the team to support HR Consultants and Business leaders on all compensation-related issues.Your Impact:* Assisting with the firm year-end process, including project management, stakeholder training and communication, reporting, analytics, and audits* Leading all Workday Advanced Compensation activity related to the year-end process* Responsible for participating in the annual external salary survey data gathering and submission, and analysis of results.* Designing, developing and testing technology tools (Workday, Xactly, Excel) to improve the execution of the year-end reward cycle* Executing day-to-day Compensation Administration activities, including benchmarking analyses, salary survey participation, compensation band/level maintenance, and analytics* Responsible for participating in the annual external salary survey data gathering and submission, and analysis of results.* Maintaining job description library and serving as the owner of the organization's salary survey database and makes recommendations on job evaluation process, and methodology* Assisting in the creation and maintenance of salary administration programs including salary structures, merit and promotional guidelines, and short term incentive* Completing job evaluations, comprehensive market analysis, and creates accurate job descriptions aligned with best practices* Providing support on Compensation related projects, working with cross-functional partnersWhat you'll offer:* Minimum 5 years of experience as a consultant in an analytical/quantitative role involving Compensation and Total Rewards.* Deep understanding of Work Day Advance Compensation Tool* Demonstrated ability deliver successful year-end reward cycle outcomes. Strong understanding of the end-to-end Total Rewards calendar/cycle and interrelationships among various HC sub-domains.* Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team spanning multiple disciplines (Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, HC Business Partners, Executives, etc.). Must have experience presenting to Senior Leaders.* Advanced level of excel.* Must be comfortable configuring and maintaining systems to support operations. Hands-on experience with Workday and Tableau is highly desirable.* Must have demonstrated the ability to create presentations to Senior Leaders using Power Point, Excel, and succinct business-focused narratives.* Experience working in an Accounting or Finance industry is needed. Highly prefer experience from a financial services or professional services environment.* Proven ability to partner with others to solicit input on initiatives and build consensus behind a recommended approach.* Exceptional time management and execution abilities.* Ability to set and manage competing priorities across several functional domains.* Excellent written and oral communication skills.* Ability to present ideas in business-oriented manner and communicate with leaders who are new to emerging practices in HC.* Exceptionally self-motivated and driven.* Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
