Job DescriptionThe Complex Claims Examiner is responsible for managing and adjudicating a portfolio of complex insurance claims, ensuring compliance with policy provisions, legal requirements, and industry standards. This role involves thorough investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of high-severity claims. The Complex Claims Examiner works closely with policyholders, claimants, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure fair and efficient claims handling.Salary
- $100,000 - $110,000 + /Yearly (based on experience)
Job Description
- Handling GL bodily injury claims mostly will cross into property damage as well.
- Will handle claims from all over the US
- Average caseload: 80-100 MAX
- Litigated files 80%+
- Injury evaluation and negotiation is a must
- Handling claims up to policy limits (Avoiding wrongful death stuff). Average is going to be $250k+
Requirements
- Needs to have commercial background (Must have GL non-auto experience)
- Will handle claims from all over the US
- Injury evaluation and negotiation is a must
- 5-7 years in insurance
- 5-7 years in litigation
- 5+ Commercial GL experience
- A JD from an ABA accredited law school may be considered as a supplement to claims handling experience Advanced knowledge of claims analysis and adjusting practices
- B.A./B. S degree from an accredited College or University preferred
