With a wide array of brands in exciting locations, HRI Hospitality is the destination to set course for growing your career!Supervision Received: Corporate Director of Revenue Management JOB SUMMARYThe Complex Director of Revenue Management is responsible for providing direction and support to a portfolio of branded hotels in order to maximize revenue and market share through the management of room inventories, market mix and pricing strategies. In addition, the Complex Director of Revenue Management works with the hotel's revenue optimization committee and leadership team to instill the revenue management culture and ensure a focus on Total Hotel Revenue Management in support of HRI Lodging's financial goals. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS•Minimum of 3 years of hotel revenue management experience supporting multiple properties•Experience and exposure with Hyatt revenue managemet systems required•Exceptional knowledge in Microsoft Office tools•Strategic, Analytical, Creative•College degree (BS/BA) preferred JOB DUTIESKey responsibilities of the Complex Director of Revenue Management position include:•Directly support a portfolio of Hyatt full service hotels while monitoring group and transient business thresholds within the five-year forecast to ensure measurable financial improvements for demand and availability. Supply critical analysis on the effect of short range decisions effecting occupancy, average rate and rooms profit goals within the current 53-week period.•Provide feedback on property revenue management strategies through attending morning rev max, weekly sales strategy meetings, property visits and ongoing collaborative conversation•Analyze and review monthly and weekly STAR Report results, understand gains or losses of RevPAR Index and apply this knowledge to impact and predict future results. Identify trends to drive focus and rally corporate support team•Identify/create best practices and share for the benefit of the entire portfolio•Analyze industry/market trends and economic data and communicating to the corporate support team and field•Collaborate with the marketing department to fabricate demand during need periods and identify strategic e-blast and other marketing offers that can drive results for the hotel•Lead the monthly forecast review process for the hotel with the goal of delivering accuracy of +/- 5% •Support the Annual Operating Plan •Development and execution of a strategic plan annually for the department•Active outreach to key constituents- brand partners, ownership, third party internet partners, engage in speaking opportunities with HSMAI, local universities, etc.•Support high level displacement analysis and decision making•Provide high level direction on annual RFP process for corporate negotiated accounts•Train sales and front office teams to understand revenue management principles and the roles they play•Train the team on how to maximize the value of available revenue management tools through the respective brand In addition, the ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:•Skilled in problem analysis, problem solving and decision making•Aptitude to perform numerical analysis of data and formulate conclusions and solutions•Vertically and horizontally nimble; able to drive both the strategy and implementation of ideas•Must possess strong communication and listening skills in both group and one-on-one situations, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills•Driven leader vulnerable to others' talents and able to use collaboration to achieve the best results•Someone that can easily identify and utilize emerging trends and technology to generate revenue HRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides fair and equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected status prohibited under Federal, State, or local laws.
