Title: Legal and Compliance Analyst
Firm: $40B+ private equity and hedge fund
Location: New York, New York (in the office 3 days a week)
Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000 base plus year end bonus

Description:
- Key role in both the day-to-day administration of the firm s compliance program and in the continuous effort to improve and adapt the compliance program in a rapidly changing regulatory environment
- Use of the latest RegTech to propose, build and execute on compliance processes to achieve scale
- Monitor and understand regulatory, compliance and legal developments affecting the firm
- Educate and train employees on compliance matters
- Assist in the performance of forensic testing for compliance with the firm s policies and procedures, incorporating technology and analytics where appropriate
- Assist with regulatory filings in various jurisdictions globally
- Perform due diligence of firm research providers, consultants, and counterparties.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a compliance role
- Top analytical and communication skills
- An ability to think creatively about RegTech and processes to streamline workflow, enhance
- the employee compliance experience, and ensure maximum accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
