Job Title: Compliance Coordinator

Location: San Ysidro, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Duration: Temporary

Pay: $ 25.03 - $28.09

Position Summary

Compliance Manager, the Compliance Coordinator will assist the Compliance Manager and/or Compliance Specialist with the facilitation, implementation, of Policy development, internal audits and the ongoing operation of the Corporate Compliance Department to ensure compliance with federal and state privacy laws.

Responsibilities

The Compliance Coordinator will assist the Compliance Manager to administer Compliance Program by assisting with the preparation and planning of the identified compliance related committees within the organization, i.e., HIPAA, 340B, Corporate Compliance, Billing and Contracts.

Working knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations and standards (e.g. relating to HIPAA compliance.

The Compliance Coordinator will assist with oversee the Corporate Compliance Hotline Log/Reports.

The Compliance Coordinator shall assist the Compliance Manager with annual trainings.

Assist the management team with the ongoing regulatory compliance audit preparation, including health center and/or HIPAA annual site visits.

Requires excellent verbal, written and presentation skills including the ability to revise existing policies and procedures for various department.

Use of PC and common software including word-processing, email, and internet[1]based legal and regulatory research is required.

Ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority, leading to desired support of actions by others.

Requires well-developed skills in meeting timeliness and attention to detail.

Advanced organizational skills.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree, clinical degree and/or minimum of five years' experience working directly in Corporate Compliance Program\Risk Management Department(s)

Skills:

Bilingual (English-Spanish) required

Experience conducting HIPAA and False Claims training utilizing PowerPoint presentations and the Learning Management System (LMS).

Equipment Used:

NextGen, Dentrix, and ARIES, MIS, Compliatric

Experience in Microsoft OneNote

Minimum one year of intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel formulas.
