The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a direct report of the CECO, the Ethics & Compliance Director for USAC and LatAm you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading the USAC and LatAm compliance business partner team and the team's efforts across the regions. These efforts are primarily focused on support of Solventum's anti-bribery, anti-corruption programs, along with ensuring appropriate HCP (Health Care Practitioner) engagement.
  • You and the team will be responsible for regional implementation of global Ethics & Compliance programs and strategies. This will require active partnership with both key business/functional stakeholders and with the E&C functional teams such as training & communications, third party risk management, and the audit & monitoring teams.
  • Developing and implementing regional specific risk strategies, policies, training, communications, and processes.
  • Leading the team responsible for regional specific advice and support of conflicts, entertainment, sponsorships, charitable contributions, and HCP interactions; including pre-approval as necessary for certain transactions.
  • You will be the primary point of contact for one or more global business operating committees and their leaders; through this engagement you will be responsible for providing compliance expertise and strategic advice to Solventum leaders and business functions and promoting a culture of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Driving the appropriate Ethical culture and tone at Solventum, through engagement with area commercial and functional teams.
  • Serving as a member of discipline calibration committees.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Juris Doctorate AND ten (10) years of working in compliance in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Five (5) years of experience addressing anti-bribery and corruption risk within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Working knowledge of Stark
  • Deep knowledge of global anti-bribery laws and other anti-corruption codes and standards, including AdvaMed or the equivalent
  • Demonstrated success as a role model for integrity within a corporate setting
  • Communication and influence management skills in a matrixed organization
  • Team management and project management skills
  • Attention to detail, collaboration, organization, and strong prioritization skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience working with senior leaders

Work location: Remote – United States

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic and/or international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $222,044 - $271,387, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
