We are seeking an experienced Compliance Lead to assist in managing our ethics and compliance programme in the market. The successful candidate will assist in designing, implementing, and managing an effective compliance program to prevent, detect, and respond to potential violations of law, regulation, and/or company policies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and controls
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in mitigating ethics and compliance risks
  • Review and update policies and procedures to reflect changes in laws and regulations
  • Provide training and communications to raise awareness about regulatory requirements and ethical standards
  • Coordinate corrective actions resulting from audits, risk assessments, or raised concerns
  • Provide legal and regulatory advice to stakeholders on ethics and compliance matters
  • Monitor and interpret relevant legislation, guidance, and industry standards
  • Analyze the impact of legislative changes on company operations and services
  • Facilitate a culture of ethics and compliance, and conduct internal investigations
  • Build positive working relationships with other control functions and business leadership.

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum); postgraduate degree or law degree (preferred)
  • At least 5 years of experience in law, compliance, internal audit, or governance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a multilingual, international environment
  • Proactive and highly organized approach to managing multiple priorities
  • Confident and diplomatic approach, with strong professionalism
  • Advanced negotiation and conflict management skills
