Job Description:

A venture-backed Fintech Platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area whose mission is to empower businesses to launch and scale faster by removing the complex licensing hurdles that slow them down. The driven, entrepreneurial team thrives on collaboration, creativity, and making a meaningful impact.

The firm is seeking a Compliance Lead who's passionate about revolutionizing an industry and building cutting-edge solutions, while possessing deep compliance and licensing knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on licensing applications and renewals.
  • Represent customer needs and insights in product meetings, shaping the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to develop new product features.
  • Build and maintain relationships with state and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Adapt to a dynamic startup environment by taking on varied ad-hoc responsibilities.
  • Stay informed on evolving licensing regulations, both state by state and federal.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a licensing role, ideally with exposure to two or more of the following license types: Fiat Money-Transmission Licenses (MTLs), Crypto MTLs, Mortgage, Lending, or Debt Collection.
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive, with a proven ability to take ownership of projects and achieve results.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to improving customer experiences.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience working directly with both customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-role environment.

This role is onsite 2-3 days a week in the San Francisco Bay Area.
