The firm is seeking a Compliance Lead who's passionate about revolutionizing an industry and building cutting-edge solutions, while possessing deep compliance and licensing knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on licensing applications and renewals.
- Represent customer needs and insights in product meetings, shaping the product roadmap.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to develop new product features.
- Build and maintain relationships with state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Adapt to a dynamic startup environment by taking on varied ad-hoc responsibilities.
- Stay informed on evolving licensing regulations, both state by state and federal.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a licensing role, ideally with exposure to two or more of the following license types: Fiat Money-Transmission Licenses (MTLs), Crypto MTLs, Mortgage, Lending, or Debt Collection.
- Strong entrepreneurial drive, with a proven ability to take ownership of projects and achieve results.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to improving customer experiences.
- Strong communication skills, with experience working directly with both customers and cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-role environment.
