Job Description:
The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to those suffering from Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. Our goal is to help individuals and families begin the physical, emotional and spiritual healing process by utilizing compassionate, encouraging and evidence-based practices. We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction. TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Provide services in compliance with NYS OASAS regulations and Joint Commission. Review psychosocial assessments, treatment plans and any other clinical documentation as needed for regulatory requirements. Complete Utilization Reviews. Ensure timely completion of required compliance documentation is upheld. Review clinical documentation for quality care. Participates in treatment plan development. Ensure client s records are in order. Mainly responsible for all utilization reviews and quality assurance activities. Tracking of clinical documentation and case assignments. Developing and updating Policies and Procedures for Part 822,816,818 OASAS programs. Incident Report Tracking and Oversight. Head of Quality Assurance Meetings. Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved. Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and puts practices in place to avoid such situations in the future. Ensures corrective actions are adequate and have been implemented for all identified compliance deficiencies. Other duties as designated by the CEO. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master s degree Qualified health professional as defined by NYS Department of Mental Hygiene, Division of Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse, Chapter X, Part 374 or J.D. Two (2) years of experience as a qualified health professional Three (3) years in a supervisory capacity Experience with Joint Commission and OASAS regulations. SKILLS: Computer skills Strong written, presentation, facilitation and communication skills Experience designing and developing compliance monitoring programs. Project management experience desired. Attention to detail and possess a high level of integrity Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $68,000 - $75,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
