Job DescriptionJob Title: Compliance ManagerLocation: Fort Mill, South Carolina Environment: In Office Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Pay Rate: $62,500 / Salary + $300.00 Monthly Car Allowance POSITION SUMMARY: The Compliance Manager is responsible for centrally supporting branches to achieve 100% compliance in all employment-related areas. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Employee licensing and personnel files
  • Federal, State or Municipal employment laws
  • Collective Bargaining Agreement requirements
  • Site-specific contractual requirements (specific to employment matters)
  • Wage and Hour administration
  • Sick Pay/Leave administration
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Assist branches in self-audit of employee-related GardaWorld's Mandatory Requirements
  • Develop and deploy auditing forms/standards for enterprise; maintain annually
  • Review WinTeam by the branch to ensure the Compliance tracker is maintained
  • Review the handbook annually for updates
  • Researches regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information. Assist HR team and branches in identifying changes to applicable employment laws by state/municipality
  • Serve as an interpreter for all new employment laws
  • Schedule, coordinate and conduct internal audits as assigned. Prepare audit reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Assist branches in creating action plans based on audit results. Follow up with the status of action items.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations, with the ability to apply to specific situations
  • Organizational skills to plan, organize, and prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources/business management or related field
  • A minimum of 4 years' administration in a staffing environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Additional Requirements
  • Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessments, interviews, and personality profiles (behavioral assessment)
  • Tech-savvy with experience in both proprietary and mass-market systems
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
