Northern Tier Counseling, your local mental health provider, is looking for the right candidate that can help oversee the company's compliance initiatives.Job Summary:This position will be responsible for identifying and eliminating the risks of noncompliance related to state licensing and contracts with our payor sources. This position will update leadership on a regular basis regarding the compliance initiatives.Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop internal company policies and see that they are respectedMake sure the organization has a clearly defined program for complying with the applicable federal, state and local laws; as well as, state licensing and payor source contracts.Constantly report to management concerning the organization's compliance with laws and regulations though the oversight of the Compliance Committee.Will attend weekly Directors meetings to keep them informed and updated on compliance related items.Take action in dealing with noncompliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome themConduct regular audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situationsCommunicate with employees and make sure everyone is aware of what they need to do to comply with internal and external laws and regulationsPerforms other related duties as assigned.We're an equal opportunity employer.
