Summary:Description Native Preference in hiring is given to qualified enrolled members of Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians and Native Americans in accordance with the Band's Preference Policy (Chapter 1-715 of the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians Tribal Policies). Applicants claiming Indian Preference must submit verification of Indian certified by tribe of affiliation or other acceptable documentation of Indian heritage. POSITION SUMMARY This management position is responsible for ensuring the board, management and employees remain in compliance with all regulations, requirements, and reporting results of compliance and ethics of the organization.

Duties:DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees and monitors the compliance for Rolling Hills Clinic. Independently and objectively reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns. Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises compliance policies and procedures. Promotes compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and policies of governmental authorities and payers. Oversees the education and training process for RHC employees on compliance-related issues. Monitors questions and issues and reports possible non-compliance through established mechanisms. Empowers team members with a solutions-oriented approach for compliance concerns. Consults with general counsel as needed to resolve challenging legal compliance issues. Develops and coordinates compliance education and training. Ensures through purchasing that independent contractors and agents who furnish medical services to the organization are aware of requirements of the compliance program with respect to coding, coverage, billing, and marketing. Conducts and coordinates internal compliance audits and reviews and coordinates audits generated by external sources. Responds to incidents of suspected compliance violations by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. May serve as the lead investigator for compliance when appropriate. Takes appropriate actions as approved by the Executive Director and CEO. Reports to the Executive Team on compliance-related matters as appropriate. Serves as the HIPAA Officer, unless otherwise assigned. Facilitates an annual risk assessment for RHC. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, or related field and a minimum of five years of industry related experience in health care with at least three years in health care corporate compliance or ten years of industry related experience in health care with at least three years in health care corporate compliance. Master's degree preferred and/or legal experience preferred. Healthcare Experience required. Experience working with Tribal populations is helpful and knowledge of health disparities highly desired. Current CPR certification. SKILLS Clear, concise, and persuasive writing, communication, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong orientation to deadlines and details.
