The Role As a Compliance Operations Associate, you will provide efficient and excellent service to Corporate International Payment clients on all interactions related to Compliance Operations. You will carry out all tasks on time, in accordance with company procedures and KPI's/SLA's. Additionally, you will follow the procedural document which outlines how to manage and clear/dire accounts ready for opening in line with company procedures and AML guidelines. Part of the role will also relate to special projects and completing administrative tasks for both the AML Compliance Manager and Chief Compliance Officer. Duties
  • Responsible for following the procedures related to KYC and AML
  • Conduct due diligence review for Sanction Screening and Transaction Monitoring
  • Research KYC information using the appropriate tools and search engines
  • Liaise with internal and external customers using DocuSign
  • Determine which cases require escalation and escalate to the appropriate internal department
  • Conduct on-going monitoring of high-, medium-, and low-risk relationships
  • Conduct Customer Due Diligence as stated in the Internal Policy
  • Review customer transactions for compliance with our BSA/OFAC program
  • Assist with our OFAC, PEP, and other BSA regulatory programs
  • Store all documentation correctly and update internal system(s) accordingly
  • Maintain paperwork to company standards
  • Responsible for completing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc statistics and tasks
Who You Are
  • 0-2 years of experience in financial compliance space
  • Familiar with working with Lexis Nexis
  • Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have great organizational skills including the ability to prioritize
  • Must have excellent oral and written skills
  • Proficient in EXCEL and Word
  • Must have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • The individual must have excellent work ethics and fantastic attention to details
  • The individual must be professional and personable
  • The individual must be determined and driven
  • The individual must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and within a team environment
