Job Summary: Responsible for agency's on-going compliance with requirements and regulations governing this agency's operation. This includes all activities related to developing, implementing and maintaining and creating compliance related policies and procedures. Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
  • Prefer a licensed health professional.
  • At least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health or related health programs (hospital, nursing facility or hospice).
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Proficient skills to promote excellent client relations and customer skills.
  • People management skills and the ability to network and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Responsibilities/essential functions: The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Serve as the agency's internal resource for all compliance related matters, coordinating activities between departments and offices as needed. *
  • Support the agency's workforce and management in implementing compliance related practices and preventing noncompliance activities. *
  • Prepare compliance policies and procedures, along with supporting material in accordance with applicable regulations and commonly accepted practices, and updates these as required by operational, environmental, technological or regulatory changes. *
  • Perform initial and periodic assessments of the agency's compliance.
  • Identify compliance risks and propose cost-effective measures to ensure the agency remains in compliance with requirements and regulations. *
  • Promptly investigate noncompliance and pursue resolution in conjunction with agency management as needed. *
  • Regularly review compliance data and report to management on the status and effectiveness of the agency's compliance efforts. *
  • Cooperate with federal and state officials and other legal entities and organizations in conducting compliance reviews or investigations.
  • Facilitate the agency's compliance awareness and training efforts, conducting workforce training as required, and making others, such as business associates, aware of the agency's compliance practices. *
  • Maintain required compliance documentation.
  • Knowledge of current Federal and State laws and regulations as they pertain to agency operation.
  • Knowledge of current accreditation standards as they pertain to agency operation.
  • Familiarity with the agency's operations and compliance practices. *
  • Ability to propose and implement cost-effective compliance strategies appropriate to the agency's operations. *

    • CPR Certification (Required)
    • Driver's License (Preferred)
    • Licensed Health care Certification
